A cafe, florist and grocer based in Ballymascanlon, just a short 10 minute drive from Dundalk. It’s worth calling out here on the weekend for a coffee, a light lunch followed by a slice of one of their homemade cakes.

The Townhouse
Located opposite St. Patrick’s Cathedral in the centre of Dundalk, The Townhouse boasts a wood fired Pizza oven in the dining room – where you can see the pizzaiola skillfully make the delicious pizzas. The Townhouse is also renowned for its Steaks and pasta.

This charming 24 seater restaurant serves up wine, beer, coffee and freshly prepared, truly delicious food in a cosy relaxed dining room overlooking Market Square Dundalk. This place features in the Sunday Times 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland for good reason. Highly recommended. 

The Bay Tree
This award-winning, Michelin recommended restaurant in Carlingford, serves the freshest local ingredients to create elegant tasty dishes in an intimate setting. Great for special occasions and get togethers with family and friends.  

The Clermont
Located on the main street of Blackrock and overlooking the Irish Sea, The Clermont was recently renovated to a modern art deco style with a bar at the front, a casual dining area at the back, a large outdoor patio area and a fine dining section upstairs. A great spot for a Sunday family lunch. 

The Spotted Dog
Family-friendly brunch, lunch and evening dinner dining, with some fantastic vegetarian options. Talented local chef Brendan serves up the best in local produce in a relaxed setting at the Adelphi Court, Longwalk, Dundalk. 

Dark Horse Pizzas
Tucked away on Bellurgan point, overlooking Dundalk Bay, and just a 15 minute drive from Dundalk, Dundalk natives Oisin and Zoe set up this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner options in 2019. Their food is insanely good. Arrive early to get a seat in the charming outdoor seating area. 

Atami Japanese Cuisine
Located on Park Street Dundalk, Atami serves up freshly-made sushi and traditional Japanese cuisine in an elegant but relaxed setting. Their ramen bowls are a delicious treat on a cold day.
